  • D’Chrome Foster Blends Soulful R&B and Hip-Hop Swagger on Infectious New Single ‘Rain’

NEW YORK CITY , NY, UNITED STATES, March 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Brooklyn-born artist D’Chrome Foster continues his ascent in the contemporary Hip-Hop and R&B landscape with the release of his intoxicating new single, ‘Rain’. Following the momentum of his previous release ‘Pack Yo Bagz’, Foster’s latest offering further cements his reputation as a versatile and emotionally resonant artist unafraid to blur genre lines.

With a voice that fuses the raw expressiveness of classic soul with the confident edge of modern hip-hop, D’Chrome Foster delivers a performance on ‘Rain’ that seamlessly shifts between smooth, melodic vocals and sharp, rhythmic flows. The track effortlessly bridges R&B, pop, and hip-hop, creating a polished yet dynamic sound that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Born Serge R. Thony, Foster first honed his craft in New York City’s fiercely competitive hip-hop circuit, battling on the Lower East Side at renowned venues such as The Pyramid’s “End of the Weak.” Drawing inspiration from icons as diverse as Harry Belafonte and Michael Jackson, he has cultivated a sound rooted in musicality, storytelling, and charisma.

Beyond music, Foster’s background in theatre and performance adds depth to his artistry. A classically trained actor educated at Esper Studios and a Master of Fine Arts graduate from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Performing Arts, he has earned critical acclaim on stage, including praise from The New York Times, which described him as “young, cocky and ready to take over the world.” His credits include multiple off-Broadway productions such as Ethel Sings, In Bed with Roy Cohn, and Kansas City Swing, alongside appearances in television and national commercials.

This rich performance pedigree translates powerfully into ‘Rain’, a track that balances heartfelt vulnerability with infectious energy. Playful yet emotionally nuanced, the single highlights Foster’s ability to create music that resonates personally while maintaining undeniable commercial appeal. Fans of artists like Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, and Kanye West will find familiar touchstones, yet Foster’s voice and perspective remain distinctly his own.

With ‘Rain’, D’Chrome Foster takes another confident step forward, solidifying his position as one of contemporary Hip-Hop and R&B’s most compelling emerging voices.

  • Iranian Singer Morteza Darestani Expands Global Presence with New Protest-Inspired Music Releases

Iranian singer Morteza Darestani releases new music reflecting Iran’s social climate while continuing his global journey as a pop musician and composer.

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, March 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Iranian singer and pop musician Morteza Darestani continues to strengthen his presence in international Persian pop music with a series of recent musical releases that reflect both personal artistic evolution and broader cultural narratives connected to Iran and its global diaspora.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Morteza Darestani has developed a distinctive identity as a singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work blends emotional storytelling with melodic Persian pop traditions. His music frequently reflects themes of resilience, cultural identity, and social awareness, elements that have shaped his reputation among listeners across multiple generations.

Born in Iran, Darestani began his musical journey at the age of fourteen when he first started playing keyboard entirely by ear. Without formal training at the outset, he quickly demonstrated an exceptional natural ability to reproduce melodies he heard. Within months he had progressed to performing songs while simultaneously singing and playing keyboard, revealing a deep intuitive connection to music.

Recognizing the importance of academic training, Darestani later pursued formal music education, studying music theory and composition. During this period he also began learning drums, adding rhythmic depth to his musical abilities. His early years were marked by experimentation in songwriting and arrangement, skills that later allowed him to develop a highly independent approach to music production.

In 2000, Morteza Darestani released his first official album, Narafteh Az Yad, after receiving authorization from Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The album marked a turning point in his career and quickly gained commercial attention, ranking among the ten best-selling cassette releases in Iran during its first month. The success introduced his voice and songwriting to a wider audience and established him as a promising Iranian singer within the Persian pop music scene.

Shortly after the album’s release, however, his career faced unexpected obstacles. A music video for the song Aroosako Bayad Dark Konam was broadcast twice on Iranian national television. Following these broadcasts, Darestani was reportedly restricted from appearing on television and from having his voice broadcast publicly. These limitations created significant challenges for continuing his professional work within Iran’s official music industry.

In 2008, he made the decision to leave Iran and pursue a new chapter abroad. After a transitional period outside the country, he eventually settled in the United States, where he began rebuilding his musical career. The experience of migration and artistic reinvention became a defining theme in his creative journey.

Following several years dedicated to rebuilding his life and professional stability, Darestani returned to releasing music internationally around 2016. During this renewed phase of his career he introduced singles including Aroosi and Junami, works that helped reconnect him with audiences interested in contemporary Persian pop music.

As both a pop musician and composer, Darestani remains closely involved in the creative process behind his music. Many of his songs are self-composed and arranged, reflecting his background as a multi-instrumentalist. His experience with keyboard and drums often influences the musical structure and emotional tone of his recordings.

In November 2025, Darestani released the single “Vala Tabar,” which combined contemporary pop production with socially reflective themes related to current discussions surrounding Iranian identity and political discourse. The song featured lyrics by S.H., arrangement by Fardin, and visual direction supported by AI-assisted design from Milad.

In early 2026, Darestani continued this creative momentum with additional releases that explore themes connected to social awareness and collective memory within Iranian society.

One of these works, “Irano Pas Migirim” (released January 20, 2026), presents a musical interpretation of a slogan that has appeared frequently among segments of Iranian protest movements. The music video accompanying the song portrays an emotional narrative reflecting public sentiment and cultural identity.

Another release, “Molla Par,” published on February 11, 2026, offers a protest-inspired musical statement addressing historical tensions and social discussions surrounding political power in Iran. The music video combines visual symbolism and lyrical expression intended to portray frustration and hope expressed by parts of Iranian society.

Darestani’s most recent project, “Javid Naman,” continues this thematic direction. The music video reflects on recent events in Iran and is structured around themes of remembrance and collective memory. Throughout the piece, references to Iranian history and cultural identity appear as part of a broader artistic narrative about the nation’s past, present, and possible future.

Across these releases, the work of Morteza Darestani illustrates how contemporary Persian pop music can serve as both artistic expression and cultural commentary. By combining emotional vocal performance with socially aware lyrics, the Iranian singer continues to build a body of work that resonates with audiences interested in music shaped by lived experience.

Industry observers note that the global Persian diaspora has played an increasingly important role in supporting artists who create music outside the constraints of domestic media structures. Musicians like Darestani, who have experienced both censorship and migration, represent a growing segment of independent Persian pop artists producing music for international audiences.

Today, the name Morteza Darestani represents more than a performer alone. His career reflects a long journey that includes early musical discovery, professional recognition, political restrictions, migration, and creative renewal.

As new songs and videos continue to reach listeners worldwide through digital platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, and social media, Darestani’s work remains part of the evolving landscape of modern Persian pop music.

Through a combination of personal storytelling, musical composition, and cultural reflection, the Iranian singer continues to contribute to the global conversation surrounding Iranian identity, music, and artistic expression.

  • Justice For Hire and HeyGen Launch Living Feature Film With Bi-Coastal Premiere in Los Angeles and New York

Justice For Hire explores what happens when filmmaking becomes a participatory experience instead of finishing the film and showing it, we are building it with audiences in real time”
    — Jan Lucanus, filmmaker, martial artist, and founder of ReelwUrld

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, March 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Justice For Hire, a cinematic story world created within the participatory filmmaking platform ReelwUrld, will launch its feature film through a bi-coastal Living Film premiere beginning March 14, 2026 in Los Angeles and continuing March 21, 2026 in New York.

The Los Angeles premiere will take place on March 14, 2026 (5–8 PM PST) at Shaolin American Self Defense Academy in North Hollywood. One week later, the New York premiere will be held March 21, 2026 (7–10 PM EST) at New York Best Kickboxing. Both events will also be available globally online for one day only, after which the current version of the film will be taken offline as the next phase of production begins.

Justice For Hire is launching as a living feature film, rather than debuting as a finished and locked movie. JFH is a cinematic work designed to evolve over time through live production, guided audience participation, and AI-augmented characters that help advance the story between screenings.
The March premieres mark the first public presentation of this approach. Attendees will watch the film as it currently exists and then participate in creating new scenes that will be incorporated into future screenings as the feature continues to grow.

“Justice For Hire explores what happens when filmmaking becomes a participatory experience,” said Jan Lucanus, filmmaker, martial artist, and founder of ReelwUrld. “Instead of finishing the film and showing it, we are building it with audiences in real time.”

Set in a near-future world where people can hire a hero through an app, or choose to become one themselves, Justice For Hire follows heroes, clients, and community members navigating real-world missions, ethical decisions, and personal transformation. The narrative is built to expand across live events, integrating trained performers and real participants whose actions influence the direction of the story.

The project was developed inside ReelwUrld, a cinematic platform built for collaborative story worlds where community-created content becomes part of an evolving feature or series. Justice For Hire is ReelwUrld’s first feature-length story world, designed to support live participation while maintaining narrative cohesion as the film grows across screenings.

AI-driven characters play a central role in enabling this structure. As part of HeyGen’s Ambassador Program cohort, Justice For Hire uses AI-based avatars derived from real human performances to function as narrative catalysts. These characters can initiate missions, connect story arcs, and introduce new scenes without requiring performers to be physically present at every stage of production.

During each Living Film Night, audiences experience a curated screening of completed feature material followed by a live production sequence where new scenes are created to fill narrative gaps revealed during the screening. These newly produced scenes are incorporated into future events, allowing the feature film to become more complete over time.

The Los Angeles premiere takes place during Academy Awards weekend, positioning the event as an independent, creator-driven counterpoint to traditional film premieres while demonstrating a new participatory model for feature filmmaking.

The bi-coastal launch also marks the beginning of a series of martial-arts-school-based Living Film events, where dojos and training communities serve as production spaces for future scenes.

“Justice For Hire explores a simple but powerful idea — what happens if heroism becomes something people can practice together,” said Jan Lucanus, filmmaker, martial artist, and founder of ReelwUrld. “By combining martial arts communities, live filmmaking, and AI-augmented characters, we’re building a feature film that grows through participation while still honoring the craft of cinema.” Anne Pham, Advocacy Community Manager at HeyGen, added: “This is what the HeyGen Ambassador program is all about — creators like Jan are pushing boundaries and trying things that haven’t been done before. Justice for Hire is an amazing example of what’s possible when you combine AI avatars with live storytelling. If this gets you excited and you want to explore similar ideas, reach out to Jan or find me in the community. We’d love to have you.”

As the film evolves, future screenings will include scenes created during previous Living Film Nights, allowing audiences to witness the feature becoming more complete over time.

  • Unique Band Launches Fret Salad: A Bold Fusion of Human Strings and AI Session Musicians

What began as a studio experiment became an exploration of how artificial intelligence can act as real musical collaborators.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA, UNITED STATES, March 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Fret Salad has announced the release of their first album “Fret Salad,” a groundbreaking collection of guitar instrumentals that blends heartfelt human performance with cutting-edge artificial intelligence. The album, available now on all major streaming platforms, features 10 original tracks that range from delicate acoustic ballads to hard-hitting metal rockers.

At the heart of Fret Salad is the guitar—every acoustic, electric and bass part was performed by human musicians, showcasing a wide range of tone, style, and technique. These virtual collaborators provide drums, keyboards, and orchestration, creating a rich sonic landscape where human creativity and machine precision meet.

“Fret Salad is really a conversation between humans and AI,” musical director Eric Lundbohm said. “We wanted to see what happens when you put the most expressive, human instrument—the guitar—into a musical environment along with today’s AI tools. The result surprised us. These songs feel alive.”

  • Akko Introduces Verge S9 Ultralight Gaming Headset: 250-Hour Battery Life at Just 270g

Akko launches Verge S9, a 270g ultralight gaming headset with 2000mAh battery, pro-tuned audio, 37mm fit range, and 250h playtime.

SHENZHEN, CHINA, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Akko today announced Verge S9 Ultralight Gaming Headset, a high-performance headset that redefines the balance between weight and battery life. Engineered for competitive play, Verge S9 achieves the “impossible” in headset design: a featherweight 270-gram frame housing a massive 2000mAh battery, offering industry-leading battery life without added fatigue.

Unlike many gaming peripherals developed through outsourced production, Verge S9 was designed and engineered by Akko’s internal R&D team and produced entirely at the company’s own manufacturing facility in Dongguan, China.

The standout achievement of Verge S9 is its internal engineering. While most “ultralight” headsets sacrifice battery capacity to shed grams, Akko integrates a high-density 2000mAh battery while maintaining a total weight of just 270 grams.

    · 250 Hours of Playtime: On a single charge (at 50% volume, LED off), gamers can play for weeks without reaching for a cable.

    · Featherweight Comfort: The 270g design, supported by CNC-machined T6 aluminum arms,
ensures the headset remains comfortable during long gaming sessions.

To ensure Verge S9 meets the demands of the modern FPS gamers, Akko collaborated directly with RSG, a premier professional esports team competing in the Delta Force scene. Through rigorous testing and iterative feedback from RSG’s pro players, Akko refined the headset’s EQ profile specifically for Delta Force, Valorant, Counter-Strike, and PUBG. This collaboration resulted in an optimized soundstage that emphasizes critical frequencies—such as distant footsteps and utility usage—giving players a distinct competitive advantage.

Performance-wise, Verge S9 delivers a high-fidelity audio experience powered by 53mm drivers utilizing N52-grade neodymium magnets, covering a wide 12Hz–22kHz frequency range to capture every critical environmental detail. To meet the demands of professional play, Akko’s custom MCU achieves an ultra-low latency of just 15ms in 2.4GHz wireless mode, ensuring near-instant audio feedback that stays perfectly synced with the action. This performance is supported by Quad-Mode connectivity, allowing users to switch seamlessly between 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth, USB-A, and Type-C wired connections across PC, PlayStation, and mobile platforms.

The headset also features an extended 37mm slider travel—beyond the typical 34mm limit found in many designs—allowing a wider fit range. Combined with a precisely tuned 4.12N clamp force, it creates a secure yet pressure-free seal across global head profiles.

Despite its high-end construction—featuring CNC-machined T6 aluminum arms and a massive 2000mAh battery housed within a 270g frame—Akko has positioned Verge S9 at a highly disruptive $69.99 price point, making professional-grade esports hardware accessible to the wider gaming community.

“Our goal was to eliminate the ‘battery anxiety’ usually associated with lightweight wireless headsets,” said the Akko R&D Team. “By pairing a 2000mAh battery with a 270g chassis and pro-tuned audio from the RSG team, we’ve created a tool that truly serves the competitive gamer.”

Akko Verge S9 Ultralight Gaming Headset is available starting today for $69.99. Each headset is backed by an extended 2-year warranty, covering hardware failures and non-accidental damage.

  • Ken Goodwin of Goodwin Made Shares ‘Missing My Baby’ in Honor of Families Facing Child Loss

A moving piano ballad released in remembrance of a young life and in support of families navigating the unimaginable loss of a child.

Sometimes music can say what words cannot. Missing My Baby was written to honor a young life and stand with families carrying unimaginable loss.”
    — Ken Goodwin, Songwriter & Producer, Goodwin Made

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Songwriter and producer Ken Goodwin of Goodwin Made announces the release of his deeply personal song “Missing My Baby,” shared in honor of an employee whose son tragically died by suicide at the age of 12. The song is being respectfully released on the anniversary of his passing as a gesture of remembrance and compassion.

The decision to release the song on this date reflects a commitment to acknowledge the profound pain families experience after the loss of a child and to honor a young life who continues to be deeply loved and remembered.

Suicide remains a significant public health concern. According to the World Health Organization, more than 720,000 people die by suicide worldwide each year — approximately one life every 40 seconds. In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that suicide is one of the leading causes of death among youth and young adults ages 10–24, underscoring the urgent need for greater awareness and compassionate support for families affected by suicide.

“Missing My Baby” explores the complex emotional journey many parents face after such loss — including overwhelming grief, anger, confusion, and the difficult process of learning to live with absence. The song was written to give voice to emotions that are often carried quietly and to create space for understanding.

The emotional center of the song comes in the bridge:

“He whispers, ‘Your baby’s with Me…
And this wasn’t yours to outrun.’”

Goodwin shared the inspiration behind the song:

“There are no words that can fully describe the pain of losing a child, especially at such a young age. This song was written with deep care and empathy to honor a mother’s love, remember her son’s life, and acknowledge the reality of grief that so many families endure. The hope is simply to let those who are hurting know they are not alone.”

Vocalist Jaime Arin, whose emotional performance anchors the song, also reflected on the meaning behind the project:

“Being a part of ‘Missing My Baby’ was deeply important to me. Ken’s thoughtful and powerful lyrics allowed me to serve as a vessel for a story that carries so much weight and emotion. Together, we share a message of grief, love, and loss — and the strength it takes to keep going in the face of it all.”

The release is intended as a quiet tribute recognizing the strength of parents who carry both love and loss each day. It also encourages thoughtful conversations surrounding mental health, bullying, and the lasting impact suicide has on families and communities.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available. In the United States, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free, confidential support 24 hours a day by calling or texting 988, or by visiting 988lifeline.org.

  • Strymon Announces New PCH X1 and X2 Active Direct Boxes and Line Isolators

Phantom-powered with custom transformers, the new interfaces pack a wealth of audio performance into two small enclosures

The response to our original PCH interface has been very positive, and we wanted to offer a phantom-powered version with transformers to better suit the needs of the live sound and studio professional”
    — Gregg Stock, Strymon CEO

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Strymon Engineering (www.strymon.net), the Los Angeles-based manufacturer of premium products for musicians, announced the arrival of two new active direct boxes/line isolators today, named PCH X1 (mono) and X2 (stereo).

Both interfaces run on phantom power and feature a custom audio transformer per channel, delivering audiophile-quality specs and galvanic isolation.

Each channel features a ground lift switch to combat hum and ground loops on stage, as well as a two-position High Pass Filter for taming low frequencies. The HPF can be set at 80Hz to reduce rumble, or 240Hz to more dramatically carve out space in the mix. Each channel also features an unbuffered Thru output that can be used to drive an onstage monitor or separate signal chain.

Essentially two X1s in the same enclosure, the X2 features an additional phase reverse switch on the left channel, as well as a stereo sum switch that merges the inputs and sends them to the left outputs. The right output then mutes to indicate that summing is active.

Quiet and clean with a flat frequency response from 10Hz to 80kHz (+/- 0.5 dB), a max input level of +20.5dBu and a max signal-to-noise ratio of -123dBu, these new direct interfaces are ideal solutions for both stage and studio, and small enough to fit just about anywhere.

“The response to the release of our original pedalboard-centric PCH interface last summer has been very positive, and we wanted to offer a phantom-powered version with transformers to better suit the needs of the live sound and studio professional”, said Gregg Stock, Strymon’s CEO and chief analog guru. “These new boxes perform brilliantly as both direct interfaces and transformer-based line isolators, and they’re clean and quiet enough to be used in the most sensitive of applications – even in scenarios where low end clarity is absolutely critical. We’re very pleased with how they came out.”

The new PCH X1 and X2 direct interfaces are available now directly from Strymon and from dealers worldwide for $199 (X1) and $299 (X2) USD.

Information and specs can be found at https://www.strymon.net/product/pch-x. Please contact Jack Heine at marketing@strymon.net for all media or press inquiries.

  • Moments of Youth Captures the Magic and Mayhem of One Unforgettable Night Before Graduation

Charming Coming-of-Age Comedy-Drama from Debut Director Gregory Pellerito Stars Comedy Icons Cheri Oteri and John Farley, now streaming on Amazon

Moments of Youth deserves to be spoken of with the same reverence as Dazed and Confused, The Breakfast Club, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. A time capsule we will look back on for years to come.”
    — Flight Deck Film Festival

STAMFORD, CT, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Jackpot Pictures proudly announces the Amazon release of Moments of Youth, a heartfelt and hilarious coming-of-age film written and directed by Gregory Pellerito in his theatrical feature debut. The film follows a group of high school seniors on the eve of graduation as they embark on an epic, prize-filled scavenger hunt that becomes so much more than a game—one final, chaotic night of laughter, secrets, dares, and profound discoveries before the uncertainties of adulthood begin.

In the small town of Winthrop Creek, the senior class dives headfirst into a high-stakes scavenger hunt featuring inventive challenges like stealing the principal’s tie, sneaking onto a professional baseball field, and pulling off a hole-in-one with pool-shark precision. Amid the fast-paced fun and reckless energy, an undercurrent of unspoken tragedy and collective healing adds emotional depth, transforming the night into a cathartic ritual of preserving youth’s fleeting innocence. Through a time capsule buried in the climax, the characters confront the bittersweet tension between clinging to the past and stepping boldly into the future.

Gregory Pellerito, President and CEO of Jackpot Pictures, draws from his diverse background to craft this authentic portrait of modern adolescence. A Quinnipiac University film graduate, Pellerito interned at MTV in New York City, contributing to iconic series like “Cribs,” “My Super Sweet 16,” and “True Life.” He has since written, directed, and produced acclaimed shorts, music videos, and the hidden camera game show, “Everyone Has Their Price.” Moments of Youth marks his leap into feature filmmaking, using dynamic humor and vibrant energy, blended with tender introspection to reflect the pressures, hopes, and invisible scars young people carry in today’s world.

The film features a standout ensemble cast led by comedy legends Cheri Oteri (“Saturday Night Live”) and John Farley (a key member of Adam Sandler’s comedy circle), alongside Garry Pastore (The Irishman, “The Deuce”) and Betsy Beutler (“Scrubs” and “The Black Donnelleys”). The talented young cast includes Sarah Herrman (starring in the upcoming film Chili Finger with Bryan Cranston, Judi Greer, and John Goodman, premiering at SXSW), Lauren Francesca (influencer with over 2 million followers), Paten Hughes (recently in the acclaimed London play Interview with Tony-winner Robert Sean Leonard), Jarrett Austin Brown (“Stumble”), Julia Tolchin (“Life & Beth”), Andrew Burdette, Savannah Whitten, Micah Scroggins, Olivia Freer, Kristen Grace Gonzalez, Carolyn Kang, and Anthony Notarile.

Behind the camera, Pellerito is joined by producers including BondIt and Buffalo 8 Co-Founders Matthew Helderman and Luke Taylor, as well as Joseph Pellerito, Wain Bradley, Joshua McCoy, JJ Pellerito, Rick Rainone, Laura Rotelli Pellerito, Susan Bradley, Tim Carney, and Kelly Hirano. Cinematography is by Cory Green, music composed by John Baxter, and editing by Jeffrey C. Quinn and Imran Vasanwala.

Distributed by Buffalo 8, Moments of Youth is available on TVOD platforms in the US, UK, and Canada, including Amazon Prime Video, Verizon Fios, Fandango at Home, as well as several cable providers, cruise ships, and in hotels and resorts. The film will expand worldwide soon.

The film has resonated strongly on the festival circuit, earning 39 awards to date, including Best Feature, Best Director, and Best Screenplay, and 34 official selections worldwide. Premiering at Festival of Cinema NYC, selections include: Paradise Film Festival, Megaflix Movie Awards, Global INDIE Filmmaker Awards, Crown Point, Hollywood Gold Awards, Bridge Fest, San Diego Movie Awards, Milan Gold Awards, and Paris Film Awards. The film was spotlighted in the Cannes Film Awards Market.

Critics and festival programmers have hailed Moments of Youth as a modern classic in the genre. The Flight Deck Film Festival awarded it five stars, calling it “exhilaratingly fast-paced and deeply tender,” a “true coming-of-age story wrapped inside a wild, unforgettable night” that “speaks vividly to today’s youth.” It praises Pellerito for creating “a mirror” to teenage pressures and fears, comparing it to Dazed and Confused, The Breakfast Club, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off: “Moments of Youth deserves to be spoken of with the same reverence… It is, without a doubt, a time capsule we will look back on for years to come.”

The Gothamite Film Awards echoed this sentiment, describing the film as capturing “that fleeting moment when everything still feels possible” with “echoes of Dazed and Confused, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and classic John Hughes energy,” yet remaining fresh and purposeful—fun, thoughtful, and resonant.

“Moments of Youth blends laughter, honesty, and heartfelt reflection into a story that speaks to anyone who remembers the chaos and beauty of growing up,” said Nikki Stier Justice, Head of Buffalo 8 Distribution. “We’re proud to support this talented team.”

The Macoproject Film Festival added: “Moments of Youth represents independent filmmaking at its most powerful—bringing together distinct voices, multiple generations of artists, and raw, honest humanity…A cinematic firework of heart, memory, and collective creativity.”

  • Billboard‑Charting Worldbuilder Ashwin Gane & Scott Storch Turn ‘DND (Do Not Disturb)’ into an After‑Hours Anthem

Cinematic worldbuilder Ashwin Gane links with Scott Storch and Kent Jones for “DND,” a chant‑ready late‑night anthem turning Do Not Disturb into a power move.

‘DND’ is the sound of me choosing presence over noise. It’s not about flexing the loudest in the room—it’s about locking in with someone so deeply that the outside world loses its access.”
    — Ashwin Gane

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Some artists drop singles. Ashwin Gane drops chapters. With “DND (Do Not Disturb),” the Detroit‑born, Indian‑American rapper‑producer and self‑described worldbuilder turns a simple phone setting into a cinematic late‑night power signal—privacy as status, exclusivity as confidence, focus as flex.

Co‑produced with legendary hitmaker Scott Storch and co‑written with global chart‑breaker Kent Jones, “DND” pairs era‑defining production DNA with a modern mythic trap mindset, extending Gane’s connected universe from orchestral sagas into a sleek after‑hours lane built for clubs, cameras, and replay.

A Phone Setting Becomes a Modern Power Signal
“DND” doesn’t treat Do Not Disturb as a background toggle—it treats it as a declaration. Built around the hypnotic refrain “DND when she with me,” the record captures the moment when the world goes quiet because the room finally matters more than the feed, the notifications, or the noise outside.

Over 153 BPM in D minor, Scott Storch’s instantly recognizable piano progression glides above heavy 808s and trap drums, giving the track the kind of melodic stamp that has anchored hits from “Still D.R.E.” to “Candy Shop.” But instead of chasing maximum volume, Ashwin Gane cuts through with minimalism and control. His rich baritone vocal sits low in the pocket—calm, unbothered, rhythmically precise—selling the flex without ever raising its voice.

“‘DND’ is what it sounds like when you choose presence over noise,” Gane explains. “The hook is simple on purpose—it’s a switch. When she’s with me, everything else can wait.”

The chorus lands like a chant rather than a paragraph: a clean acronym, a direct image, a feeling most listeners already know but rarely hear framed as power. That restraint is intentional. Every element—the topline, the 808 pattern, the piano line—is engineered for instant recall in clubs, car speakers, and short‑form loops.

Scott Storch, Kent Jones, and the Architecture of a Chant
For Gane, “DND” is more than a placement with a legendary producer; it is a conversation with the architects who shaped the sound he’s now evolving. Scott Storch, whose catalog includes era‑defining records across hip‑hop and pop, brings a melodic authority that signals credibility from the first bar. Kent Jones adds a hook‑forward sensibility honed on “Don’t Mind,” the global hit that topped rhythmic and rap airplay charts and reached the Billboard Hot 100 top ten.

Co‑written by Gane and Jones, the topline on “DND” reads like a case study in economy: a chantable acronym, a single setting, a clear scene—her phone on Do Not Disturb, a late‑night drive, an exclusive pocket of time where outside access is cut off. Jones’ pop instincts keep the melody accessible, while Gane’s cadence and word choices ground it in the mythic, mysterious tone he’s cultivated across previous projects.

“Scott’s catalog is part of hip‑hop’s DNA, so having his piano set the tone while Ashwin stays cool in a lower register gives ‘DND’ a different kind of flex—confident without shouting,” notes a representative for Kyyba Music.

From Mythic Trap Universes to After‑Hours Minimalism
“DND” marks a new contour inside a larger, carefully constructed world. Gane has spent the last several years positioning himself not simply as a rapper, but as a cinematic and mythic trap storyteller who treats every song, visual, and podcast as part of one connected universe.

That universe is anchored by Twilight Tales, a ten‑track orchestral trap anthology co‑created with Grammy‑winning songwriter Poo Bear and R&B disruptor Justin Love. Blending distorted 808s with ghost choirs, sweeping pianos, and gothic imagery, the project has amassed more than 6.5 million streams and 5 million video views while introducing fans to a resistance saga told through psychological “psyop” chapters such as Awakening, Purge, GuiltTrigger, and Victory.

Tracks like “Regret It”—which climbed to number seventy‑four on Billboard’s R&B/Hip‑Hop Digital Song Sales chart and hit number eleven on the iTunes U.S. Rap/Hip‑Hop Daily chart—positioned Gane as an artist who could bring classical drama, emotional weight, and trap energy into the same frame. Visuals for songs such as “Leeches” and “Regret It” leaned into knights, wolves, evidence boards, and cathedral landscapes, reinforcing the sense that listeners were stepping into a cinematic saga rather than just another playlist.

Live, Gane has taken that storytelling to two of the largest stages in American sports. At the NFL Chargers Halftime Show at SoFi Stadium and the NBA Clippers vs. Lakers Halftime Show in Los Angeles, he transformed arenas into noir theatres—often beginning in silence, letting tension build before the first note, and then moving with deliberate, filmic precision rather than typical halftime spectacle. Clips from these performances circulated widely online, with viewers describing them as “cinematic” and “like a Christopher Nolan character on a rap stage.”

Within that context, “DND” functions as a deliberately stripped‑down, late‑night chapter: same architect, fewer moving parts. Instead of choirs and multi‑scene videos, the track leans on a single piano motif, a focused hook, and a visual concept that translates Gane’s mythic sensibilities into nightlife language.

The Visual World: Tavern‑Party Fantasy Meets Gaming Culture
The visual extension of “DND” pushes the song’s themes into a stylized realm where club culture, fantasy imagery, and gaming aesthetics collide. Set inside a tavern‑coded party environment, the world feels halfway between a secret quest hub and an underground VIP room. Neon accents and moody lighting carve out pockets of shadow and glow, while wardrobe and set design nod to fantasy archetypes without leaving the contemporary frame.

This isn’t a frenetic, bottle‑throwing chaos. It’s controlled exclusivity. When the protagonist walks into the room, energy changes—not because he’s the loudest person there, but because the camera follows his stillness.

Throughout the visual, phones turn face‑down, notifications go unanswered, and attention narrows to the present moment. The “DND when she with me” line becomes the operating system of the night: being in that room, at that hour, with that person, is more important than anything happening on the outside.

An upcoming 80s Synth Wave reinterpretation of “DND” extends the world further, recasting the track with retro textures designed for choreography, looping edits, and visual repetition. While the tempo and core attitude remain intact—confident, unbothered, late‑night—the sonic palette shifts toward shimmering synths and performance‑forward pacing, giving dancers, editors, and creators new ways to inhabit the Do Not Disturb mindset.

DND as Mindset: Focus, Boundaries, Selective Access
Behind the club‑ready surface, “DND” is built on the same philosophical spine that underpins Gane’s broader narrative work: focus, boundaries, momentum, and self‑priority. Internal strategy documents for the rollout frame the song as an anchor for a wider “DND mindset” campaign across X, Instagram, Threads, Genius, and long‑form content, using short, high‑impact text lines to explore ideas like selective access, protecting energy, and moving quietly.

Lines such as “Do not disturb isn’t a setting. It’s a decision,” “Not everything deserves your attention. That’s power,” and “Boundaries are how momentum survives” form the textual backbone of this campaign, positioning “DND” as both a soundtrack and a language for listeners who see focus as a competitive advantage.

Rather than promoting the track directly, the team uses these posts to spark conversation, reflection, and identity alignment. On X, for example, DND‑derived content appears as short, cerebral statements or inner‑dialogue snippets—“I don’t disappear. I recalibrate.”—designed to feel like Ashwin’s private thoughts made public. Instagram then becomes the visual echo of that voice, with clean text‑on‑image posts, slow‑motion footage, and story frames that mirror the late‑night, locked‑in energy of the record.

Genius, meanwhile, is reserved for deeper annotations that explain mindset rather than literal lyrics, emphasizing that “DND” is not just about a relationship scenario but about choosing focus over distraction. Across platforms, the tone remains consistent: cerebral, confident, epic, and slightly mysterious.

    A Worldbuilder’s Next Move
Gane’s commitment to worldbuilding goes beyond aesthetic choices. His background—an only child raised by Indian Immigrant parents in Metro Detroit, a magna cum laude graduate in biological sciences, and a self‑taught producer who learned via “YouTube and Google Academy”—has shaped a methodical, system‑driven approach to creativity. He talks about music like research and development: ideas are tested, refined, and expanded across formats until they form a cohesive mythology.

In interviews, he has cited influences ranging from Hans Zimmer to Dr. Dre, anime arcs to spiritual self‑work, The Weeknd’s worldbuilding to classic noir cinema. These references appear not as surface‑level nods but as structural inspirations: Twilight‑era dusk as a recurring color palette, evidence boards as visual metaphors for psychological mapping, knights as stand‑ins for internal battles.

“DND” fits into that system as the nightlife manifesto—the chapter where the protagonist stops trying to respond to every call, text, and expectation, and instead chooses presence with the person and vision directly in front of him. It’s the soundtrack for locked‑in studio nights, late drives after a show, quiet celebrations after wins that haven’t been announced yet.

Building for Clubs, Cameras, and Continents
From an industry perspective, “DND” is designed with multiple endpoints in mind. For DJs and live programmers, the record offers a rideable after‑hours pace, heavy but spacious low‑end, and a hook built for call‑and‑response moments. Crowd mechanics—“DND when she with me” as a chant, and acronym repetition that audiences can pick up after one listen—make it an easy addition to late‑night sets and club rotations.

For digital platforms and content creators, the song’s minimal but sticky structure translates smoothly into Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and streaming overlays. The Do Not Disturb motif gives editors a built‑in visual cue—phone screens dimming, notifications sliding off, conversations switching to airplane mode—that can be stylized in countless ways without diluting the core idea.

Playlist curators get clear metadata and positioning: hip‑hop/rap primary with trap and pop‑rap lean, 153 BPM in D minor, mood tags like late‑night, confident, exclusive, cool, replay‑ready—ideal for lists such as Night Rider, Get Turnt, Most Necessary, Club Rap, and Luxury Flow.

For fans of Ashwin’s deeper lore, “DND” functions as a signal that the mythic universe is expanding outward, not upward: from resistance epics and knight‑coded ballads into sleek, modern spaces where the mindset remains the same but the lights are neon instead of twilight.

About “DND” and What Comes Next
“DND” stands at the crossroads of several forces: a Billboard‑charting, CAA‑represented artist with a proven cinematic universe; a legendary producer with decades of hitmaking experience; a hookwriter whose melodies have already circled the globe; and a cultural moment where focus and boundaries are becoming aspirational values in their own right.

As Ashwin Gane continues to build his mythic trap world across albums, skits, podcasts, and live experiences, “DND (Do Not Disturb)” offers an entry point that is both instantly accessible and deeply coded. On the surface, it’s a sleek, late‑night anthem for people who move best when the world gets quiet. Underneath, it’s a chapter in a larger story about choosing what deserves your attention—and what no longer does.
